Defeating Incurable Illness |

The worst has happened. Your loved one, a parent, friend,
child or grandchild has been struck down with a deadly or
debilitating disease for which medical science has no
cure. You search for second, third and fourth opinions from
specialists. Leaving no stone unturned, you also consult
alternative and complementary healers. With an aching heart,
you turn to prayer or other spiritual practise until, finally,
you face the likelihood that nothing will spare the one you
love. Friends avoid you. You are left alone to face the
inevitability of suffering and death.
This drama is lived and relived every day by countless people the world over and there seems little hope on the horizon. Science, dynamic as it is, continually lags behind our needs. It has become a financial "black hole" swallowing billions of dollars every day. Cancer research alone has consumed $29 billion with little to show for the investment. A few forms of cancer have become treatable but the overall cancer death rate has nearly doubled in the last ten years. Cancer research is only a fraction of the billions spent on medical research and, yet, we still don't have a cure for the common cold.
It is even more distressing to hear scientists admit that we are
almost totally ignorant of the physical world and that we have
barely begun to scratch the surface of the unknown. The Project Mind Foundation offers a solution to this dilemma. The Project Mind Foundation has a new strategy to increase efficiency in science and accelerate medical and scientific breakthroughs. The Foundation will provide specially selected scientists with innovative conditions whereby medical science and all scientific disciplines can rapidly and with regularity, generate the breakthroughs we so desperately need. Presently, a global search is underway identifying scientists with the potential to generate scientific breakthroughs within the unique conditions provided by the Project Mind facility. Architectural plans for the facility have been completed. The cost of building the facility is estimated at $9.5 million and the operational costs for three years of breakthroughs will be about $20.5 million. Each new product or process that springs from new knowledge widens our horizons, increases our options, enriches our lives and reduces our vulnerability to illness.
