REDEFINING SCIENCE & SPIRITUALITY FOR THE 21ST CENTURY
AUG 9, DAY 1
Tai Chi of the Tree Meditation with Dr. Michael Kagan
The T'ai Chi of the Tree is a beautiful, meditative way
to integrate the sefirot of the Tree of Life into our bodies.
The movements are very gentle and originate from the waving
of the four species (lulav - palm branch, etrog - citrus fruit,
arava - willow, and hadas - myrtle) during the Succot
(Tabernacles) festival. The directions are not only towards
the four winds, earth, and spirit but also, according to the
Ari (Rabbi Luria), to the six lower sefirot.
