Tu B'Shvat - 15 Shvat

B'S"D

Tu B'Shvat is the the New Year of the trees, and of the vegetative world, in general. The dominant quality or feature of the vegetative realm is "growth," a natural expression of the cosmic quality of abundance, which is one reason, perhaps, that a lowly bush, a modest form of vegetation, was chosen to be the medium through which the ardent and undying fire of unlimited abundance is biblically expressed.
