Began 1973 in Mental Health. Hold extensive and widely diversified
experience in every aspect of the field from front line staff
positions through middle management and into top administration.
- Have worked in all aspects of the field including state hospitals, day
treatment programs, outreach services, community mental health centers
and my own business.
- Have worked with the chronically mentally ill,
substance abusers, the dually diagnosed, domestic violence and sexual
offenders, trauma survivors, Viet Nam veterans and many others.
- Have developed a number of startup programs, many innovative and unorthodox.
- Have been at various times: Director of Nursing; Vice President of
Mental Health services for a fifteen county area in Penna. offering
multiple programs. Director of multiple other programs.
- Have developed
multiple, successful grants for various mental health programs and others.
- Have worked on the cutting edge of the field and watched it come
full circle since the early seventies, with plenty of money and programs
around to tremendous downsizing.
- Counseling style has always been
holistic in nature.
- Married times three. First two to good men who could not accept me
for who I am and had a need to keep me confined in a traditional model.
Third marriage successful to soneone who does accept me for who I am and
supports and encourages this.

One child son - age 22. Lost multiple children following effects of
3 mile island.
