  • Moshe Newman was born in Long Island, NY, moved to Davenport, Iowa as a teen when his father decided to study Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. The eldest of four children, he was the third to make the trip to Israel when he first came in 1984. During the next two-and-a-half years in Israel, he decided that he wanted to make Aliyah. In preparation, he returned to the US for 10 years to study Chiropractic and "get his feet wet" in a practice. For the first three of those years, he was also the cantor at the Baldwin Jewish Center, Baldwin, NY. Dr. Newman made Aliyah in march, 1995, based upon his commitment to his heritage and his belief that that commitment includes settling the Jewish Homeland. He, his wife of 12 years, Tsipora and four young children presently reside in the Old City of Jerusalem where they recently purchased a home. Practising Chiropractic and facilitating Somato-Respiratory Integration out of his clinic across from the central bus station, Dr. Newman works in the afternoons/evenings and learns and practices martial arts in the mornings.
