  • Born: 1960
    Grew up in Miami Florida
  • 1981: Studied Talmud and Jewish Philosophy, Talmudic University of Florida B.E.
  • 1980: Married in Jerusalem to Becky Goldstein
  • 1981: Ordained by Rabbis Herman, Tucker, Werthiemer and Blau
  • 1982: Member of the Rabbinic Council of America
  • 1982-1984: Continued advanced study and independent research, Talmudic University of Florida.
  • 1984-1987: United States Army: served as Jewish Chaplain, Fort Riley, Kansas, and as Correctional Chaplain, US Amy Correctional Activity. Was Trained in and practiced individual, group and family therapy as part of the correctional program for prisoners and their families.
  • 1988: Masters program in Pastoral Counseling, St. Thomas of Villanova University, Miami Fla. Practicum in addiction treatment. M.A.
  • 1988: Made Aliya
  • 1989-1991: Rav of Beer Sheva Prison, Taught Torah classes, Counseled prisoners and their families. Took part in a national program for rehabilitation through religion
  • 1992: Certified as Rabbi by the chief Rabbinate of Israel
  • 1992-1997: Rav of Moshav Tequma
  • 1997: Studied Kabbalah with Rabbi Sholomo Vaaknin, Yeshivat Rachel Immenu, Jerusalem (In addition to other studies and teachers throughout the years...) Was authorized by Rabbi Vaaknin to serve as a teacher of Kabbalah.
  • 1998-present: Living in Ashkelon, Israel, teaching and counselling publicly. Writes Mezuzot and Tefillin.
  • Has five children: Moshe, Yossi, Tzuki, Avigail and Kobi
