  1. Logically, the gift of an infinitely compassionate Creator could only be infinite and eternal and fundamentally good. Thus this infinite and eternal gift must be concealed within this finite and temporal world that we have already received from Him. He is waiting for us, as His partners in Creation (co-creators), to reveal His gift of infinite compassion using the capacities and indications that He has given us for that purpose. This is sometimes called "Breaking the Cosmic Bank" and is our pre-messianic mission.

    1. To what extent do you believe that the Creator is infinitely compassionate or that, in the alternative, existence is fundamentally good?

    2. To what extent do you consider yourself a partner with the Creator or, in the alternative, that we are empowered with unlimited potential?

    3. To what extent do you believe that we are meant to reveal the infinite within the finite?

  2. That the infinite and eternal are hidden from us means that we are confronted, almost exclusively, with limitation and restriction allowing us to doubt the imminence (or at least the accessibility) of the infinite and the eternal. Limitation and restriction render us physically vulnerable to deprivation, misadventure, disease, aging and death making it almost impossible to believe that infinite abundance is lurking within "finite" matter. Thus, we tend to cleave to the physical for our survival and for our fragile sense of security. We tend to erroneously seek the infinite, if at all, in the transcendent, above, rather than in the manifest, below. Although the way back to Eden is blocked, retreat to the transcendent, in the direction of Eden, is permitted for renewal, disidentification, preparation and purification (all of which boils down to spiritual hygiene). We mustn't confuse hygiene with mission and purpose.

    1. To what extent do you believe that mankind has a common cosmic mission?

    2. To what extent do you feel that you have a personal mission in this world?

    3. To what extent do you feel that your mission is connected to the common cosmic mission?

    4. To what extent do you believe that our mission and purpose goes beyond the functions of self-correction and purification?

  3. The physical is the thin crust of an almost entirely metaphysical existence. To be attached to the mere crust of existence means to be cut off from the bulk of reality - metaphysical reality. This alienation from the bulk of reality is, thus, the operational definition of waking sleep to which most traditions make reference. Waking sleep and metaphysical blindness, one and the same, make it difficult for us to understand that our mission - the purpose of our existence - is to reveal the Creator's infinite blessings hidden within the physical and not in the transcendent where it is always manifest (but largely forbidden to us).

    1. To what extent do you believe that the bulk of existence is metaphysical?

    2. To what extent do you believe that, for the most part, you are asleep - i.e., blind to metaphysical existence?

  4. Through conscience, some people not only become aware of our mission to reveal the infinite from within apparently finite matter but also realize that the universal awakening of humanity from our collective, waking sleep depends, exclusively, upon revealing infinite physical abundance. Our faith in unlimited possibilities and our connection with the core of our essence is usually compromised around the age of four when we are told that our perfect world of fairy tales is fiction, that evil often prevails in this world and that, in any event, all life is condemned to death. Few children find the inner resources of the Patriarch Abraham to reject parental authority and convention and maintain their belief in infinite good.

    1. To what extent do you believe in unlimited possibilities?

    2. To what extent do you believe that infinite abundance is implicit in physical existence?

  5. Unlimited physical abundance can be revealed only through the total mastery of physical matter which is the vocation of science, in general, and of invention, in particular. Total abundance will devalue possessions, abolish illness and all but eliminate aging and death. All our material needs and wants will be freely, universally and instantly satisfied making it spiritually and psychologically impossible for us to cleave to the material or be materialistic. Unable to further cleave to the physical crust of existence, we will all awaken, more or less simultaneously, to a direct awareness of an infinite (metaphysical) existence and, by corollary, to our own spiritual poverty.

    1. To what extent do you believe that it will be possible to conquer matter and that, ultimately, material things, without limit, will be free to all?

    2. To what extent do you believe that it will be possible to conquer all illness?

    3. To what extent do you believe that it will be possible to eliminate aging?

    4. To what extent do you believe that unlimited abundance is the key to universal spiritual awakening?

  6. Science, still in its infancy, has been handicapped by materialist doubts in its pursuit of exploring the unknown and revealing the infinite possibilities inherent in existence. These doubts tend to tax what faith we do have and impede the visionary effort of creativity. Accordingly, creative vision, at this stage of scientific evolution, tends to be too fragmentary and feeble to lend itself to immediate application. Laboratory experimentation and methodology, that dominate science today, are thus needed for the painstaking verification of what little vision does reveal.

    1. To what extent do you believe that science is still in its infancy?

    2. To what extent do you believe that creative effort is a function of the faith that we have in that which we hope to discover?

    3. To what extent do you believe that materialistic doubts affect the visionary effort of creativity?

    4. To what extent do you believe that science is, essentially, a creative effort of vision?

    5. To what extent do you believe that materialism affects our faith in infinite possibilities?

    6. To what extent do you believe that laboratory methodology and experimentation fail to compensate for the default of creative vision on the part of scientists?

  7. Yet science, in principle, should be an entirely spiritual enterprise. The role of vision and insight should dominate science rendering the need for laboratory verification negligible. Creative vision is the highest human expression of spirituality. The spiritual "DNA" that bestows an unlimited creative capacity upon us is the image of the Creator stamped upon our essence. The more resistant the matter of our inquiry, the more penetrating the vision and the greater the effort that is required.

    1. To what extent do you believe that creativity is a spiritual function?

    2. To what extent do you believe that we are made in the "image of G-d" or, in the alternative, do you believe that our creative potential is unlimited?

    3. To what extent do you believe that creativity is a function of the image of G-d stamped upon our essence or, in the alternative, that this creative potential is inherent to all humans?

    4. To what extent do you believe that the physical is the realm most resistant to penetration by creative vision?

  8. We are most like the Creator (and thus closest to Him) when we are exercising our creative capacity to the maximum and, most particularly, when the whole of ourselves is involved. The formal indication for this sacred level of creative effort is the famous, Old Testament prayer: "Love G-d your L-RD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might" (Deut. 6:5). "Love" refers to the emulation of G-d's infinite, compassionate creativity. "All," repeated thrice, points to the total commitment (actually obsession) that is the condition for activating the infinite aspect of the image of the Creator within us and, thus, for realizing our creative potential and mission. The whole body is, potentially, all mind.

    1. To what extent do you believe that the meaning of "love of G-d" is our emulation, through creativity, of G-d's infinite, compassionate creativity or, in the alternative, that the realization of our unlimited creativity is inevitable in an existence that is fundamentally benign?

    2. To what extent do you believe that the key to breaking the cosmic bank is an effort of total commitment?

    3. To what extent do you believe that the body is, potentially, all mind?

  9. According to tradition, all creative work (and thus all discovery and invention) must be complete and, thus, total abundance revealed by the year 6,000 (2240 CE). That is the latest possible date for beginning the Sabbatical (messianic) Millennium by which time all lack and illness must be abolished and aging and death largely so. Total, physical transformation is also hinted at in the popular myth of the "white donkey" destined to convey the Messiah. "Donkey" (Chamor) hints at matter (Chomer) while "white" indicates its purification and transmutation whereby matter no longer limits or restricts us in any way. Thus it is the elimination of the restricting influence of matter - Breaking the Cosmic Bank - that will bring the Messiah and usher in the great Sabbath.

    1. To what extent do you believe that breaking the cosmic bank is predestined?

  10. The "Fall of Man" is a doctrine that traces our spiritual descent from pure spirit to the physical in which we now find ourselves challenged with a variety of escalating, matter-based, global, ecological, economical and technological threats. It is a cosmic mechanism to redirect us from trying to escape, above, into the transcendent (through awe of G-d) and encourage us (through love of G-d), to recognize our co-creative partnership in Creation and to love and transform that which is below us - our world - revealing the infinite and thus G-d's presence in it.

    1. To what extent do you believe that the "Fall of Man" is a mechanism designed to ensure that we creatively engage the physical realm?
